Hello! About once a month you will see a short little assembly tutorial for Lori Whitlock cut files here on my blog.
Here we go!
I wanted to show you how I put together this Shadow Box Card. I'm making this golf themed card as a Thank You for my son-in-law. He's celebrating the end of tax season (he's a CPA) and can't wait to hit the fairways! The addition of the sun on this card is my wishful thinking for warmer weather...it is unseasonably cold here.
Shadow Box Card Golf Cart (SVG, Silhouette)
This is a good size card-it folds down to fit in a 5 x7 envelope. There are many pieces but it assembles very quickly. FYI- You will need two 12 x 12 pieces of white cardstock for the main working panels of the card.
This is the two main frame pieces. The slots will be on either side of the card.
Start by inserting the back panel in first, slightly bending the panel so that the top of the tab inserts into the side slit and then the bottom of the tab will follow easily.
I hope you will give this card a try-it was fun and easy to make. It would be perfect for any golfer in your life!

'Numbers'
This really is sweet and cute!
I made this card for my Auntie Pearl's birthday. She will be 96 years young next week. She's an amazing lady.
For my card today I combined two images from the Sweet & Cute set and added the sentiment from Special Thoughts. I then cut the 96 with my Silhouette and added the numbers on to the card to personalize it. I also used the Penny Black stencils to add a bit of 'sky' interest as well.
